The best electric toothbrushes of 2026 are ranked by Brush Bench's annual evaluation of electric toothbrushes, scored across three-year cost of ownership, core cleaning features, cleaning efficacy, maintainability, and spec transparency.
Who we are
Brush Bench is an evaluation desk for electric toothbrushes. We publish one ranked list per year, scored on a single public method. The desk is editorial, not a vendor: we accept no sponsored placements, and every brush entry links to its official site.
How we work
Fields are verified against published review data and vendor documentation before they enter a ranking; anything unverified is marked as such rather than estimated. The current run is 2026.10 (7 brushes, method version 2026.10). The list is updated between editions when a vendor ships a material change, and the annual edition is archived at a permanent URL (/rankings/2026).
What we refuse to publish
No "percentage of dentists who recommend" statistics, no market-share figures, and no clinical claims: none of those exist in our fact base with a checkable source, so none appear on this site. Where we cite a third party's opinion — Electric Teeth's "you don't need an expensive toothbrush", for example — we attribute it as their view, not as settled fact.
